| CCIAA finances courses of the IUAV |
The Treviso Chamber of Commerce of Industry, Craft and Agriculture finances courses of the IUAV (Venice Architecture University). In addition to Industrial Design, with the three-year-long degree course and the two-year-long specialisation degree course, there is also the research doctorate and from September 2005 the course of Fashion Design with 60 students that will become 180 in 3 years. The Chamber of Commerce has earmarked over 2 millions 700 thousand euros for Industrial Design and 1 million 500 thousand euros for Fashion Design. Last data, provided by IUAV, say that for the degree course in Industrial Design demands were 557 for 120 posts, for the specialisation degree course demands were 52 for 50 posts and for the new degree course in Fashion Design demands were 168 for 60 posts.
