There's something brewing in Italy
This country is famed for its wines. But, as David Ryan discovered, it's the beer that's worth coming for here

[...] But while Italy's factory beers go down well with pizza, the microbreweries are targeting the restaurants. We try two from the 32 brewery in Treviso. It comes in 74ml wine bottles, often corked, and served chilled from the ice bucket. This is beer with gourmet trappings; not to be slurped but savoured. Smooth, light, blond brews accompany strong tastes such as red meat and fish and deeper, fruity red and dark beers go with antipasti and desserts.
