Three conferences related to international marketing - which professor Leonardo Buzzavo teaches in the undergraduate degree in Foreign Trade - will be held at the Interdepartmental Centre for the Culture and Economics of Globalisation in Treviso, in the Treviso campus of Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

1. Doing Business in Globalizing Asia (in English).
Wednesday 5 May 2010 (10:30 to 12:00 noon), speech by Nobuo Kawabe, professor at Waseda University in Japan and director of the Institute for China Business.


2. Idee per la competizione globale: le Olimpiadi a Venezia nel 2020 (Ideas for global competition: the 2020 Summer Olympics in Venice)
Monday 10 May 2010 (12:15 to 1:45 p.m.): speeches by Federico Fantini (director of the committee for Venice 2020) and Alvise De Vidi with Rossano Galtarossa (multi-medallists at Paralympic and Olympic Games respectively).


3. Mercati, Imprese e Brand in Movimento (Moving markets, companies and brands)
Wednesday 19 May 2010 (10:30 to 12:00 noon):speech by Mrs Barbara Donadon, CEO of Altana spa, leader in the licensing field of childrenswear (luxury segment).
     
All the conferences will be introduced by professor Leonardo Buzzavo. They will be held in the Auditorium Santa Croce in Piazza della Dogana (university area at Palazzo San Leonardo, in Riviera Garibaldi 13/E, 31100 Treviso).
