Erika Comin, studying at the undergraduate degree in fashion design in Treviso, has been selected as a finalist of ITS#EIGHT, taking place in Trieste on 10 and 11 July 2009.

ITS is a platform for creative minds and has reached edition number EIGHT.

ITS stands for International Talent Support. The mission is stated in the name: to give visibility, support and a voice to young talent from every corner of the earth and offer the chance to liberate creativity through financial opportunities, work placements and occasions to have their work shown to a jury made up of real experts.

ITS is comprised of 3 competitions and has many prizes:
FASHION, ACCESSORIES AND PHOTO

ITS is a state of mind, a lifestyle and a network that comes together during a 2 day event, 10-11 July 2009, that takes place in Trieste, Italy.

Within the fashion section, Erika Comin was selected to participate in a shortlist of 17 finalists, among hundreds of students coming from more than 230 art and fashion schools of 65 countries.
The jury was composed by: Vladimiro Baldin (Diesel), Elisa Palomino (Diane von Furstenberg), Valentina Maggi (Floriane de St. Pierre), Deanna Ferretti, Bernadette Wittmann (BWG Agency), Katarina (Kat) Nadj (Gucci Group), Mandi Lennard, Barbara Franchin (direttore di EVE/ITS), Kei Kagami, Angelo Flaccavento.

The participation to ITS#EIGHT is further confirmation of the value of the undergraduate degree in Fashion Design directed by Mrs. Maria Luisa Frisa, an institution which pays particular attention to research and innovation.

The appointment is in Trieste, on 10 and 11 July 2009.
ITS#EIGHT is organised by EVE. Diesel was among the first ones to believe in this project, and is now the main partner of ITS#FASHION.
