«The first graduates from the undergraduate degree in fashion design at Treviso are a symbol of a new optimism with which we should look at the future of Italian fashion.

By sustaining this degree course, Treviso Chamber of Commerce gave space to ideas, creativeness, talent, but also to a closer relationship with enterprises, their production processes and retail strategies.

These qualities are necessary in order to be ready to catch and face the global economic recovery as promptly as possible.

Some of these young graduates have already found a job, both in Treviso and in other parts of the world, for example London.

Thus, Treviso finds its place within the international fashion design context.

This results give due value to fashion and design companies within our province and their high level of skills.

Therefore, I would like to wish these graduates good luck, and I hope that their professional qualification and international experience will become more and more fruitful for the growth of the territory.»
