After a study made from the CISET (International Study Centre about the Touristic Economy) concerning the business tourism in the provinces of Treviso, Vicenza and Belluno, the Veneto Region in partnership with the Consortiums Marca Treviso, Belle Dolomiti and Vicenza è, has decided to begin a promotion for this target with the purpose to convert the business tourist in leisure tourist, to let him came back or stay longer thanks to different benefits created just for him.    

The marketing activity considers a folder which includes a voucher regarding special offers for business men to use during a leisure stay in a destination that they normal know for their job, but not in a touristic way.  

The promoters are accommodation realities, which can develop the fidelity of their clients inviting them during the week-ends, and the companies which want to offer a special gift as a week-end or a special discount for a stay in the province to their important clients, members of the staff, etc. 

The folder is like a “container” of propositions, offers, promotions for the week-ends, which can be adapted from whom gives or receives it.

According to the needs and the kind of the clients, the Consortiums of Touristic Promotion suggest a sailor made proposition, according to the available budget. After that, it’s possible to fill in the coupon with the information concerning the promoter, the promotion and the receiver.   

In the Treviso province, besides the voucher, there’s another project: the “InCentro Carta Premia”, a card which gives important discounts in the outlets which have given their approval. This initiative is very important also to understand the wills and the purchases of the tourists.

The purpose of all this big and new project, is to let the business man know, that he’s very important for this territory which offers, and just to him, an opportunity to discover all the see sights and, in the same time, to give to the companies a new way to remain in touch with their clients or to reinforce the relationship with their staff members, helping the hospitality and promoting the typical product.

The folder concerning Treviso includes also a proposition of itineraries in the Province to discover the masterpieces of three famous artists:
Palladio (this year is the 500th anniversary from his birth), Canova and Giorgione

FROM CANOVA TO GIORGIONE IN THE LAND OF PALLADIO

Itinerary proposition

1st day: Friday
Arrival in the province of Treviso (Marca Trevigiana) in the afternoon and visit of the birth city of the famous Renaissance painter Giorgione: Castelfranco Veneto, where you can admire the “Pala” (altarpiece) in the Dom. One continues toward Fanzolo, to be delighted at the Villa Emo, masterpiece of Andrea Palladio. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and night.

2nd day: Saturday
After breakfast departure for Asolo, passing through San Vito di Altivole where you can visit the modern “Tomba Brion” (the Brion Tomb) a work by architect Carlo Scarpa. Arrived in Asolo, “the city with one hundred horizons” situated up on a hill, you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramas and buy the famous hand loomed silk of the “Tessoria Asolana”. On going on toward Maser, one visits the other big masterpiece of Palladio: Villa Barbaro with the “Museum of Carriages”. Back to the hotel, dinner and night.

3rd day: Sunday
After breakfast departure for Possagno, birth city of Canova where you can visit the plaster cast gallery with plaster casts, Marbles and paintings and the Canova’s home.
Along the historical “Strada del Prosecco” (Prosecco Wine Road), visit and wine tasting in a wine cellar before arriving in Conegliano, a small Renaissance town and birth place of the painter Cima da Conegliano. Departure to go back home.

The accommodation is preview in hotel 3 or 4 stars, farmhouses or relais.
