The ceremony to appoint professor Maria Luisa Frisa (director of the undergraduate degree in fashion design) as the holder of Buziol Chair took place in the wonderful setting of Venice, in the IUAV University.

Mr. Carlo Magnani, the chancellor of IUAV University of Venice; Mr. Marco De Michelis, dean of the faculty of arts and design; Mr. Federico Tessari, president of Treviso Chamber of Commerce; Mrs. Alessandra Pegorer, president of the fashion cluster of Unindustria Treviso; Mr. Elio Fiorucci, guru of casual fashion; Mrs. Paola Dametto Buziol, president of Fashion Box Group (Replay) and Fondazione Claudio Buziol and her sons took part in the event. The latter awarded the winners of the international fashion designers' contest “A box of dreams”: a very important iniziative within the fashion sector supporting the emerging creatives, strongly wanted by the Fondazione Claudio Buziol.

Maria Luisa Frisa was praised for her professionalism and for the important task she will have to face with the Buziol Chair.
Claudio Buziol was commemorated with emotion by his wife Paola Dametto Buziol, by Mr. Donazzan, author of the book dedicated to Claudio Buziol, and by his friend the fashion designer Elio Fiorucci.
