TR Transform&Rearrange: Shingo Sato’s New modelling Introduce Anthony Knight, Elisa Borghi
The Sketch_ trials of ideas and researches conference cycle restarts on Monday the 22nd of January 2007 at 10.00am and will host the Japanese Shingo Sato who, with the forth appointment of this cycle, will disclose a innovative modelling system: the TR technique, Transform and Rearrange.
The Sato’s technique, which is innovative and effective, results to be based on the body and its volumes: the base is a cotton model, used as pattern paper, and it is modified straight on the manikin, to create cloths translating the three dimensional nature of the human body.
The meeting will take place in Treviso, via A. Papa, 1 at the Fashion Design Course building site (IUAV University of Venice) managed by Ms Maria Luisa Frisa.
Sketch, rose in order to foster the circulation of fashion original approaches, and became once more the opportunity to make contact and come to know new and interesting working trends offered by the wide fashion world.
TR (Transform and Rearrange) is a innovative and effective technique developing the modelling balance and stylized volumes. TR is assimilable to a three dimensional puzzler, and it is a modelling adaptable and understandable by everybody.
