Giuliana Benetton, interviewed for the occasion by the Fashion journalist Giusi Ferrè.
Treviso initiative aims its attentino on Giuliana Benetton the extraordinary profile and experience, queen of a world made of materials, cottons and technologies, thus a world vocation for the research and innovative attitude, which are ingredients marked the whole history and identity of Benetton label.
Beside gathering Giuliana Benetton’s account offered during an interview by the Fashion journalist Ms Giusi Ferrè, conference will explore Giuliana Benetton world from different points of view also thanks to the contribution by Arabeschi di Latte, Giorgio Camuffo, Franca Coin, Paola Cloaiacomo, Fiorella Bulegato, Elda Danese, Paolo Landi, Simona Segre Reinach, Deanna Veroni and Sonia Veroni.
Conference works will open at 10:00 hours with the greetings of Mr Carlo Magnani, IUAV University of Venice’s Dean, Marco De Michelis, Design and Arts Faculty Director at the IUAV, Alessandra Pegorer, Treviso Uninustria Fashion District President, Franca Coin, Venice International Fundation President and Maria Luisa Frisia, Fashion Design Course Director of the IUAV University.
At 10:00 too will be opened the exhibition cared by Maria Luisa Frisa, Alessandra Vaccari with Maria Bonifacic, titled: The Body Democracy. Knitting, Colours, Images, the exhibition offers a meaningful clothes section coming from the Benetton Archive.
