Treviso Glocal started its activity in March 2002 to serve Treviso's economic system in its internationalisation effort; specifically the agency, as set forth also in its triennial activity plan, offers information, assistance and support services in all internationalisation and import/export issues.

Since March Treviso Glocal has been equipped with a system to monitor telephone flows, which allows monitoring both incoming and outgoing calls. Thanks to this system approximately 9,000 incoming and outgoing contacts from the switchboard were recorded. The ADSL internet connection has also been operative since May, allowing the agency to deal with an even higher number of enquiries and requests.

The founding partners set up Treviso Glocal as an innovative tool to support internationalisation and export, which are two fundamental factors in Treviso's economy. Among the wide range of services offered by the agency, the front desk provides fundamental guidance as well as information. The figures show this service is extensively used, which leads to forecasting an exponential increase in its activity, in view of the fact that the Agency is still in the start up phase and not fully known and used by operators, since neither the service nor the Agency itself have been promoted or advertised yet.

In its international activity Treviso Glocal has hosted about ten foreign delegations from various parts of the world, who have met more than 100 firms of our Province. It has also organized directly or on behalf of its partners 8 international trade fairs.
