THE SPECIFIC COMMITMENT OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

As President of the Chamber of Commerce, I can say with satisfaction that the Chamber is already fully involved and today represents an active subject in the direct and indirect contribution to the realization of many projects of the Plan.

Considering the present projects portfolio of the Plan, the Chamber today is the proposing part for over the 12% of all projects in the Plan, and over the 19% of projects that already have a budget.

Considering the global Plan, on a total of 270, the Chamber directly proposed 35 projects, for an overall budget of 14,5 millions Euros.
In other words the Chamber ever since today moves in the Strategic Plan about a half of its overall institutional budget.

The Chamber’s involvement strength is still more clear if you look at Strategic Points of economic and productive spheres.
I refer to Point 3 and 4 of the Strategic Plan, that are “Innovation and competitive repositioning of the Marca” and “Development of knowledge policies as strategic lever”.

Here ( Points 3 and 4) the Chamber sustains, promotes or co-promotes 28 projects on a total of 75, which is the 37%, with a budget of 12,6 millions Euros. Considering only the Point 3- “Innovation and competitive repositioning”, the Chamber moves the 48% of the overall budgetfor this Point.

We are talking about crucial projects for the innovation of instruments for district competitiveness. For example, I think to the development of the Degree Course in Industrial Design and of the corresponding Master, the project of an advanced marketplace portal and of a web laboratory for tests, analysis and certifications for the Wood-furniture System; experimentation of new technologies qualifying Sportsystem small enterprises integration into the spinneret - which is the project called “Widespread Enterprises” -but I refer also to the new project about mechanic spinneret, directed towards the emersion of new leaders of division parts, for which it is necessary to elaborate new forms of policies and of development support.

Moreover, the Chamber express its leadership in European projects oriented towards change management in contexts of productive internationalization (as the LISP, an European project in which the CCIAA is the leading partner).

The global redraw of the training spinneret for the wood-furniture sector is the objective of another project planned by the Chamber, which is looking with interest at what is happening in the Pordenone province. It seems clear how in the training field the Strategic Plan offers an ideal platform of collaboration among all subjects that, for institutional competences and supplied services, revolve round the crucial theme of the investment in knowledge for our youths, which is aligned if not forerunner of enterprises needs.

Important is also the commitment in the promotion of Enterprises Social Responsibility (I refer to the project of a counter for enterprises, according to the protocol of national agreement between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and National Unionchambers, but also to the project for the Observatory for Civil Economy, addressed to the tertiary industry).

As you can see the portfolio is rich and further implementable, but many yards are already opened with the task forces ready to start working.

Now I thank all the present and in particular the economic categories that I personally followed closely and I renew the Chamber of Commerce commitment in representing the synthesis and reference point for the Plan implementation.
